WELCOME TO UST LIBRARY


The UST Miguel de Benavides Library is housed in a 6-storey building facing Dapitan Street. Seventeen sections and four branch libraries comprise the UST Library. The collection of each section / branch varies according to courses offered by the University. The Library Staff is headed by the Prefect of Libraries and the Chief Librarian. There are 27 professionally trained librarians, 24 support staff and 80 student assistants.

  • LIBRARY SCHEDULE:

    MARCH 19-31:        Closed to alumni researchers and visiting users due to final                                examinations

    APRIL 2-14:            Library is closed to all users(Library inventory)

    APRIL 16 - MAY 25: Summer classes (Library is open for those enrolled in
                                   summer class) 8:00am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday

    MAY 28 – 31:          Library is closed to all users (Library Inventory and                                Housekeeping)

  • The UST Miguel de Benavides Library is in search for competent, committed and compasionate librarian with the following qualifications:

            1. Graduate of Bachelor of Library & Information Science                                             2. Licensed                                                                                                                     3. At least three (3) years experience in library work                                             4. Preferably with a Master's degree in librarianship or related field
