InterLibrary Loan Service


Interlibrary Loan is the process of sharing resources among libraries. If
the library does not have the book, journal or other materials you need,
the library may be able to obtain them from another library that is also
a member of the resource-sharing.
Only the following are eligible to use this service:
- UST Administrators
- UST Faculty members
- UST and Hospital employees
- Thomasian students who are currently enrolled
Guidelines:
- Clients may ask and submit request using the Interlibrary Loan Form
at the
General Reference and Information Section.
- The Library reserves the right to limit the number of items requested
or
borrowed by a single user at one time.
- All requested items must be picked up at and returned to at the
General Reference and Information Section.
- Users must submit their validated school ID in exchange of the requested
item.
- Borrowers must honor restriction that all requested materials are
in-library use only.
- When requested items are available for pick up, borrowers will be notified
by
phone.
- Interlibrary loan service may be suspended to borrowers who fail to
pick up,
keep materials overdue, or damage requested interlibrary loan materials.
- Borrowers are responsible for any charges levied by the library for
any lost or damaged materials. No refunds will be made for lost and paid
materials that are recovered.
